sizzling mexican taco burgers

serves 4 makes 12 burgers

ingredients

  • 750g lean beef mince
  • Old El Paso® Original Taco Kit (279g)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 50g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 small lettuce head, shredded
  • 3 tomatoes, finely chopped

preparation

Mix beef with onion, cheese and Old El Paso® Spice Mix for Tacos, then divide mixture into 6 even-sized balls and flatten to form thin burgers. Cook on a BBQ or in a non-stick pan over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side until thoroughly cooked through.

Warm the crunchy Taco Shells by following the instructions on the box.

Fill each Taco Shell with half a burger, crispy shredded lettuce, juicy diced tomatoes and salsa and then crunch away!
